Description

Carmen Benton's beer burger sauce — flat beer, catsup, vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper cooked down over partially-cooked hamburgers until the sauce thickens and the burgers finish cooking. Simple, tangy, and the kind of burger sauce that makes people ask what you did differently.

Let the beer go completely flat before using — the carbonation prevents the sauce from reducing properly.
