Description

Tender, golden biscuits made with canned sweet potatoes, Bisquick, butter, egg, and a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg. Rolled into egg-sized rounds and baked until dark golden brown, then brushed with butter.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Grease a cookie sheet.
  2. Mix sweet potatoes, 7 Tbsp. butter, egg, milk, vanilla, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg together.
  3. Add Bisquick and stir until just blended. DO NOT OVERMIX.
  4. Roll dough into 20 egg-sized rounds and place on prepared cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes until bottoms are dark golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and immediately brush tops with remaining 2 Tbsp. melted butter.
