Description

A classic no-bake peanut butter candy — peanut butter, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla rolled into balls and dipped in melted chocolate chips and paraffin for a firm, glossy shell. The homemade version of a Reese’s Cup, with a richer peanut butter flavor and a satisfying snap from the paraffin-set chocolate.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Mix peanut butter, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla together until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small balls. Place on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet.
  3. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.
  4. Melt chocolate chips and paraffin together over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  5. Dip each ball into the chocolate mixture and place on waxed paper to cool and harden.

Note

Keep the balls refrigerated between dipping batches — warm dough sticks to the dipping fork and the chocolate takes longer to set.
