Description

A rich, fudgy cookie made from a chocolate condensed milk dough wrapped around a hidden Hershey’s Kiss center, baked until just set, then drizzled with white chocolate. Every bite reveals a melted chocolate surprise in the middle. Makes 60 cookies that store beautifully in a covered tin.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium saucepan over very low heat, combine chocolate chips and butter. Cook and stir until melted and smooth.
  3. Add sweetened condensed milk and mix well.
  4. Combine flour, nuts, chocolate mixture, and vanilla. Mix well.
  5. Shape 1 Tbsp. of dough around each unwrapped candy kiss, covering it completely.
  6. Place cookies 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 6–8 minutes. Cookies will be soft and shiny but will firm up as they cool. Do not overbake.
  8. Remove from cookie sheets and cool completely.
  9. Melt white candy coating and shortening together over low heat until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cookies.
  10. Store in a tightly covered container.
