Description

A no-bake holiday candy shaped and decorated to look exactly like tiny strawberries — sweetened condensed milk, chopped pecans, strawberry Jello, and coconut mixed together, chilled, and hand-rolled into strawberry shapes, then coated in red-tinted sugar with a green sugar stem. Charming, festive, and always a conversation starter on any holiday table.

Instructions

  1. Mix condensed milk, chopped pecans, strawberry Jello, and coconut together until well combined.
  2. Chill mixture for 30 minutes until firm enough to shape.
  3. Shape mixture into small strawberry shapes by rolling between your palms and tapering one end to a point.
  4. Roll each strawberry shape in red-tinted sugar to coat the body.
  5. Use green-tinted sugar where the stem and leaves would be at the top.
  6. Allow to set on waxed paper for at least 1 hour before serving.
  7. Store in a cool place or refrigerate.

Note

Food-safe red and green sanding sugars are available at craft and baking supply stores. The strawberry Jello in the recipe already gives the candy a pink base color, so the red sugar is mainly for texture and decoration.
