Description

Brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup cooked into a praline syrup, poured into a baking dish, topped with crescent rolls and a custard of eggs, milk, and vanilla. Refrigerated overnight and baked until puffed and caramelized.

Instructions

  1. Stir together brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth.
  2. Pour praline mixture into a lightly greased 13Ă—9-inch baking dish.
  3. Unroll crescent rolls and arrange over the praline syrup in a single layer.
  4. Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, and salt.
  5. Pour egg mixture evenly over the crescent rolls.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours (overnight).
  7. Remove from refrigerator. Bake uncovered at 350°F for 45 minutes until puffed and golden.
  8. Serve immediately.
