Mrs. William’s Pecan Pie
Description
Mae Wilton's version of pecan pie adds a touch of almond extract to the classic Karo syrup and butter filling — baked slowly at 325°F for a full hour in a crust pre-baked for 6 minutes for a firm, fully cooked base. The almond extract is a small detail that makes a noticeable difference.

Pre-bake the pie crust at 325°F for 6 minutes. Remove and let cool slightly.

Mix white sugar, flour, Karo syrup, eggs, butter, pecans, vanilla, and almond extract together until well combined.
