Hot Cranberry Bake
Description
Fresh cranberries and chopped apples sprinkled with lemon juice and sugar, topped with a crumbly oat and pecan streusel, and baked low and slow at 325°F for an hour. Served warm with vanilla ice cream. A beautiful fall dessert that works as well at Thanksgiving as it does on any cold evening.

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Combine chopped apples and cranberries in a lightly greased 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice and stir.

Top with sugar, spreading evenly.

In a bowl, mix oats, chopped nuts, brown sugar, and melted butter together until dry ingredients are moistened and mixture is crumbly.

Sprinkle oat mixture evenly over the fruit.

Bake at 325°F for 1 hour.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
