Description

A thick, chewy oatmeal cookie loaded with M&Ms, Rice Krispies, and pecans — finished while still hot from the oven with 3–4 pieces of candy corn pressed into the top. Festive, fun, and perfect for Halloween. Big batch makes 60 cookies.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease cookie sheet.
  2. Beat butter and both sugars together until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
  3. Combine oats, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add to butter mixture and mix well.
  4. Stir in Rice Krispies, M&Ms, and pecans.
  5. Drop by rounded Tbsp. onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes.
  6. Immediately after removing from oven, press 3–4 pieces of candy corn onto the top of each cookie.
  7. Let stand 1 minute on the cookie sheet before removing to racks to cool.
  8. Store in an airtight container.

Note

Press the candy corn into the tops of the cookies immediately after removing from the oven while they are still soft — they will set in place as the cookies cool.
