Description

A classic broccoli salad with fresh broccoli florets, crispy bacon, red onion, raisins, and sunflower seeds in a sweet, tangy mayo and vinegar dressing. Made ahead and refrigerated so the dressing softens the raw broccoli slightly. A potluck staple that holds up beautifully.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar.
  4. Combine broccoli, crumbled bacon, red onion, raisins, and sunflower seeds in a large bowl.

  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Note

Make this at least an hour ahead — the dressing softens the raw broccoli and the flavors meld significantly. Overnight is even better.
