A hearty taco salad loaded with seasoned ground beef, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar, black olives, and crushed Fritos — tossed with Thousand Island dressing and served immediately while the chips are still crunchy. A crowd-pleasing main course salad that satisfies like a meal.

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain fat. Add taco seasoning and prepare according to package instructions. Cool slightly.
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar, and black olives.
  3. Add seasoned ground beef.
  4. Add crushed Fritos.
  5. Toss with Thousand Island dressing just before serving.
  6. Serve immediately.
