Description

New Orleans-style baked barbecue shrimp — whole headless shrimp bathed in Worcestershire sauce, Italian dressing, butter, lemon, and bold spices, then baked at high heat until pink and curled. No grill required, no fuss. Serve with crusty French bread to soak up every drop of that irresistible sauce.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Place shrimp in a single layer in a 9×13 inch pan.
  3. Pour Worcestershire sauce over all.
  4. Sprinkle Italian seasoning, cayenne, garlic powder, onion flakes, salt, and pepper over the shrimp.
  5. Add lemon slices and butter slices over the top.
  6. Pour Italian salad dressing over everything.
  7. Bake at 450°F until shrimp are pink and curled, about 15–20 minutes.
  8. Serve immediately with crusty French bread for dipping.

Note

Don't overcook — shrimp are done as soon as they curl tightly and turn pink. Pull them at the first sign and they will finish in the residual heat.
