Brownies by Adam
Description
A simple, fudgy brownie built from scratch — sugar, butter, water, and chocolate chips melted together in a saucepan, then stirred with eggs, vanilla, almond extract, flour, baking soda, and salt. Poured into an 8×8 pan and baked just until set. The almond extract is the secret touch that puts these above a standard brownie.

Do not overbake — brownies should look just set in the center when pulled from the oven. They firm up as they cool.
