Description

A Southern punch bowl classic — double-strength coffee poured warm over vanilla ice cream and Cool Whip. Simple, crowd-sized, and always a hit at brunches and gatherings.

Instructions

  1. Brew double-strength coffee by using twice the normal amount of coffee grinds for 10 cups. Stir in sugar while still warm.
  2. Place Cool Whip and vanilla ice cream in a large punch bowl.
  3. Allow coffee to cool slightly — it should be warm but not hot.
  4. Pour warm coffee over the ice cream and Cool Whip.
  5. Stir gently and serve immediately.
